A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.”
Job is portrayed as a wealthy man of upright character who loves God. YetGod allows Satan to destroy his flocks, his possessions, his children, and his health. Job refuses to give up on God, even though he does not understand why this is happening to him. We, too, must trust God when we do not understand the difficulties we face. It is our great privilege to have God for our God: to know Him, to love Him, to adore Him, and to trust in Him.“Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.”(Job 22:21)
God says “I am He who will not remember your sins.”
