“My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.”
This Psalm speaks of a close connection the believer shares with God. David’s soul was close to God, the ideal presented here is a sense of joining, or gluing together. God’s response was that He would uphold him with His mighty hand. This thought came to me: Jesus “tags along” with me wherever I go. When I am out on my daily walk He “tags along.” When I get a cup of coffee and go out on the patio there “Jesus tags along.” I looked up what the word “tag along” means. It means: ”to follow closely and persistently.” Yes, Jesus goes with us wherever we go holding us in His right hand. He is our helper and protector.
No matter where we are, our desire should be for God because only He satisfies fully
