A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,”
“Christ may dwell in your heart.” We read that we are in Christ and then we also read that God wants us to give Him our heart. (Prov. 23:26)This does not mean we cut our heart out of this body and hand it over Him.What does this statement mean? When we believe with all our heart, the will, the emotions, and the intellect are surrendered to God.The heart is the fountain of life to the soul.It is our inner most being. We can have a heart of unbelief or a believing heart. If we have a believing heart the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within a person renewing them inside out. This changes a person too have a love for God and a desire to obey Him.A heart of unbelief is one that opposes the things of God and will have nothing to do with spiritual matters. What kind of a heart do you have-- a believing heart or one of unbelief?Receive Jesus today and become a believer in Him.Get your heart right with God while you can.
Without God in our life --- our life is one of no hope
