Thought from the Word

Isaiah 41:10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

In visiting with a man the other day he stated “It is getting so a person is afraid to leave his house to go to work now days.”  Sometimes believers need to be reminded what God tells us in His Word.  Jesus told us in Luke 12:32  .Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” God doesn't want us to live in fear. He wants us rather to live in the safety and security of knowing that He loves us and He is for us (Romans 8:31). The reason why we don't have to be afraid is because He is with us wherever we go. Since our God is the biggest, strongest, most loving God in the universe, we can rest in His 24/7 care of every area of our life. God promises to be with us wherever we go. He promises to strengthen us, help us and hold us up with His mighty right hand.  Psalm 27:1... “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”  Let’s just keep trusting in the Lord and keep in His Word.

We should not fear for God is always near
