“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”
The Bible states that the Lord appears unto Jeremiah and this is what He said to him. “Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” This applies to us today. God is in love with us today. One has written: “the master-magnet of the Gospel is not fear, but love. Penitents are drawn to Christ rather than driven.” It was Jesus’ love that drew us to Himself. We are undeserving of this love. Yet in spite of all of our sin Jesus went to the cross there He died in our place for our sin. We need to thank the Lord everyday for loving us with this everlasting love.
Jesus’ blood cleanses us from ALL sin.
