Thought from the Word

Isaiah 55:6

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”

I got so excited when I read this verse.  I felt I had to share it with all of you.  “Seek the Lord while He may be found.”   God stress the fact that it is urgent for people to seek Him now.  This is the time He can be found.  Not that He can only be found this minute but He can be found when one’s heart is inclined to do so when He is speaking to you.  The next verse states: “Let the wicked forsake his ways.”  God desires the need for people to repent.  Repentance is simply turning from our way to God’s way -- from sin to God’s righteousness.  The last statement says it all – “for He will abundantly pardon.”  If you have done this just say thank you Lord.  If you haven’t done this yet do so immediately.

God’s Word has power, and it never fails His intended purpose
