A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”
I call attention to the words “continuing instant in prayer.”It seems to me it is hard to find time to pray.I believe that is because we keep putting it off during the day.We need to realize prayer is “much needed” in our walk with the Lord.We should take time or make time to take our cares to the Lord in prayer. We need to approach the throne of Grace continually for a fresh supply of grace and strength to enable us to be victorious in our Christian life.We should do as Psalms 55:17 tell us “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray.”We should be in a prayerful attitude at all times – acknowledging our dependence on God throughout the day and night.
Prayer should not be our last resort – we should start every day with Him in prayer.
