Thought from the Word

Isaiah 59:1-2

“Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

What great verses these verses are.“Behold” or listen to this:God’s power to save individuals from their sin is still available. He will hear anyone that will call out to Him,

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”(Romans 10:13)Then when we are saved He hears our prayers. If we sin and we fail to confess our sin after we are saved He does not hear or answer our prayers. We are to confess our sins to Him and He will restore us back into fellowship and answers our prayers once again.(I John 1:9)By the death of Jesus on the cross He paid the penalty for our sins and removed the barrier between us and God.Have you called on Him to save you?

Satan tempts us to give in to his kind of life and give up on God’s kind of life.
