A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
“My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.”
Here is a verse promising God’s protection for His children. You may ask if He is all of this then why did “So and So have to die?” I have asked this same question. “Why Lord?” In my first ministries a young man a member of the church was killed in action. He had a good testimony for the Lord and was known as “The singing Marine” by his buddies. On the battle field at night he could be heard singing hymns to comfort his comrades. My question was “Why Lord”. Here was a young man letting his light shine for the Lord and then he was killed in action. It was then the Lord spoke to my heart: “I loved Him so much that I just brought him on home to be with me.” Oh, what joy we have to know the Lord has a mansion reserved for us in heaven.. Do you have a mansion reserved for you? You can if you know the Lord as your Savior.
Jesus said go and prepare a place for you, that where I am, there ye may be also.
