II Timothy 4:10

“For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world,…”

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and have receive the gift of eternal life---The question maybe asked “Are you living for the Lord or for the things of the world?”Many believers get off to a good start with the Lord then they get side-tracked like Demas. They become occupied with the things of the world.I John 2:15 warns us that we are not to love the world for the world opposes all God stands for.James 1:27 we are told to keep ourselves “unspotted from the world.”So dear believers stay on course with the Lord by “seeking those things which are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.”(Col. 3:1) Here is the point: Continue on in the faith and you will be blessed by God in your life of obedience.Have you experienced the new birth? The Bible tells us that you don’t need to continue on as you are.Become a new person in Christ.

Praise the Lord; He sets us free from sin and death
