Isaiah 1:16-17

“Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.”

God is speaking to the sinful nation of Judah but the message is to all of us today.Their sin was so bad that it is compared to the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. He is telling them to confess their sins and be spiritual within. He wants them to get rid of their sinful behavior and stop their sinful ways.He desires that of us as well.Listen to God’s Word which means to respond in obedience though your sins are many I will pardon your sins completely and make your slate white as snow in my sight. But if you refuse and continue to rebel against me it will lead to eternal death.Repentance leads to life eternal.Which will you choose today?

When you hear God’s Word be willing to obey
