John 16:7

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

Jesus tells His disciples of His soon coming death on the cross and He would leave them. But He is not leaving them to be orphans. The Holy Spirit will come to be their Comforter. Not only would He be their Comforter but the Holy Spirit will be their Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, and Teacher. He is all of this to us that are living today as He was to the Disciple. He teaches us gradually, silently and effectively for only what the Holy Spirit teaches us do we really know.He also teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live soberly and righteously, and godily in this present world.Do not grieve the Holy Spirit by the way we live. (Eph. 4:30)

But the Comforter the Holy Spirit will teach you all things
