“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”
Here is a promise that is difficult to do.This same promise is found over in I Peter 5:7 “casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.”We try to do it by praying telling the Lord all our burdens and then we put them in the Lord’s hands. Then what do we do?After our prayer time we begin to pick them up and begin to worry anew over them. Here is a suggestion that may help us.We tell the Lord in prayer what bothers us and we ask Him for His help (or deliverance) then we must believe that He is able and can work this out for us.In-other-words God can and will do it.Remember God is always near and wants to help us with our difficulties.Jeremiah 17:7 tells us “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. “
The God of the Bible – the God who is really there for us – is a God who cares for you and me
