Thought from the Word

Son of Solomon 8:7

“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.”

My Thought today is for those who are married. Here in the Song Of Solomon is a description of love.Real love is something that lasts a life time.I speak from experience as we are in our 67th year of married life.Love between a married couple grows and grows until death itself parts them.It cannot be killed by time or disaster it only grows stronger and stronger. Some couples seem to fall out of love but I don’t see how that can happen.Love is freely given and is priceless. The richest person cannot buy love.It is a gift from God and is to be shared within the guidelines that God provided in His word.Accept the love of your spouse as God given and strive to keep it going till death do us part.

Real love lasts forever
