A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
“But I hope in thy word.”
One has written the following: “So long as there are . . .tears and sorrows, and broken hearts, and crushed hopes, and human failures, and lives burdened and bowed down, and spirits sad and despairing — so long will the Bible be a needed book. It is full of inspiration, light, help and strength for earth's weary ones.”As we read the Word our faith to believe increases. (Rom. 10:17)The Bible contains . . .the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers.Read it so you will know what God is trying to tell us.Read it so you can find your way to heaven.God wants you to know about Him.Thank God for the written Word.
Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully.
