A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
"He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."
Someone has penned the following words:
As the man lives--so must he die!
As a man dies--such must he be;
All through the ages of eternity
It makes a great difference, therefore, how we live in this world. There is an false impression in some people's minds, that they can live in sin all their days, and then by a few tears of penitence and a cry for mercy in a dying hour--can change all the course of their life and spend eternity in Heaven. The Bible nor this verse does not teach such a view now there is a experience of this happening with the dying thief on the cross.But it happens very seldom.The future life is most generally the harvest of this present life.So you put your trust in the Lord today to have a place reserved in heaven for you tomorrow.
We will have in heaven, what we cannot see now, it will last forever.
