A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
The ideal Christian life is one: of unquenchable thirst, of bottomless yearning of divine discontent. Now what does this mean divine discontentment? The trouble with too many of us is that we are too satisfied with ourselves as we are.. We have attained a small measure of peace, a little holiness, some measure of faith, a little of joy, and we have limited knowledge of Christ. We have become satisfied with what we have therefore we are not hungering and thirsting to be filled and running over with righteousness. The Lord wants to give us more and more than what we have.Do you hunger and thirst after the things of God or are you content where you are?
There is nothing on earth that deserves more attention than the matter of making sure we are children of God
