2 Timothy 3:4-5

“…lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

In the last days the Bible tells us perilous times will come – very difficult times. This passage tells us some of the things that will happen. One thing they will love pleasures more than they will love God.Here are a few questions on the subject.
***Is the love of pleasure and amusement growing on you — gaining the powerand authority over you?
***Is it dulling your interest for spiritual things?
***Is it making Bible study, prayer, communion with Christ, and meditation upon holythemes — less sweet enjoyments than they once were?
***Is it making your hunger for righteousness, and for God — less intense?
***Is it interfering with the comfort and blessing which you used to find in church services, or in Christ's work?
If so, there is only one thing to do — hurry back to return to God, abandon the pleasure or amusement which is taking over your main interest.Return your zeal to Christ and to the joy which the world cannot give.Get back to that which is helping you to grow into Christ-likeness and spiritual beauty?

People have rejected the Bible therefore they have cut themselves off from the power that can make them godly
