A THOUGHT FROM THE WORD
“And Esau said, I have enough,…”
Jacob said “I have enough.” (33:11) This is very unusual for here are two men who are very wealthy saying they have enough. Most people want more and more, they are never satisfied. For the believer “all things are yours” (I Cor. 3:22)So really we as believers have all we really need or will ever need.Being in Christ we have enough strength and Grace for this life. We have Christ, and we have God’s Word, we have the Holy Spirit within us.We have His love, His power, His faithfulness what more is there to want?He is the “all sufficient God.”The child of God should never be discontented. We should be heartily satisfied for we have all things what more is there to desire. We should rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee,
