Thought from the Word

Leviticus 25:17

“Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the Lord your God.”

In the context of this verse there is a warning not to cheat one another and we need to put this into practice today. Then we are to “fear the Lord”.Psalm 128:1 as we reverence the Lord or fear the Lord it brings spiritual blessings and material benefits to be enjoyed by the Christians. In Ecclesiastes 8:12 “it shall be well for those that fear the Lord.”But in verse 13 “it shall not be well with wicked because he feareth not before God.”So we should desire to fear the Lord so it will be well with us.We should avoid the “not be well” because we do not fear God.Do not neglect the Lord in your life.

There must be a time in our lives when we turn our hearts to God
